Growing Home - Sponsorship

Growing Home is a program of the Greater Omaha Chamber to connect BIPOC students who are attending an out-of-state institution or in-state institution but want to continue building their network and exploring work opportunities in Omaha. Students will receive professional development training and mentorship from Omaha professionals and be connected to internship opportunities in Omaha over summer break.

Scholars enrolled in Growing Home will receive professional development training, mentorship from local professionals, and connections to internship opportunities in Omaha over summer break. Through this program, we support organizations in building a diverse future workforce and re-engaging talented professionals who leave Omaha to attend college.

We want to build these students’ professional network in Omaha, explore their desired career fields, and offer a summer internship experience so that they see Omaha as an attractive option post-graduation.
