HMIS Custom Data Request

Custom Data Request to Access Chicago's HMIS Data
__________________________________________________________________________________________________

All Chicago is the HMIS lead for the Chicago Continuum of Care (CoC). If you need information from Chicago’s HMIS, begin by checking for that information on the dashboards or reports located in the HMIS section of All Chicago's webpage. If the information is not available, a request should be submitted.

All Chicago reviews all data requests in accordance with the Data Request Prioritization tool and framework for prioritizing custom data requests. The ensuing questions align with the tool and are intended to help ensure All Chicago has all of the relevant information to assess the request. Please respond to all questions and provide as much detail as possible.

Three scoring items in the Prioritization Tool do not correspond to any questions below. These items will be scored by All Chicago based on other information in the narratives and HMIS expertise. These scoring items are:
  • There are no similar reports or data requests that can meet the current data request and/or be slightly modified to meet the current data request.
  • This data request has no negative impact or implications on other parts of the data or homeless response system.
  • What is the estimated level of effort (and associated costs) needed by the HMIS Lead to fulfill this request?
All Chicago will be in touch after scoring the request to share the score – this will also be updated on the Data Request Prioritization page so you can track where the request falls relative to other submitted requests. In instances where the requests are at the top of the queue, All Chicago will provide an anticipated delivery date. Some requests, such as those that come from outside the continuum of care or that are for advocacy purposes, may be subject to a charge of $150/hour of staff time. All Chicago will review any fees with you before beginning work on your data request.
