Geary Boulevard Improvement Project Small Business Working Group

This fall, Quick-Build treatments to improve transit and safety on Geary will be installed as part of the Geary Boulevard Improvement Project. The SFMTA understands that change can be difficult and that we have a role in fostering small business success. To help merchants thrive during this time, we have set aside funds to create a customized marketing campaign to attract customers to the Geary corridor. We’re seeking business owners and representatives to form a Small Business Working Group to decide what kind of marketing support would best help Geary businesses.

SFMTA staff will select a maximum of ten Small Business Working Group members who are impacted by Geary Quick Build implementation and who best meet these criteria:
  • Are committed to working collaboratively with the SFMTA project team and fellow Working Group members
  • Represent the diverse demographics of Geary Boulevard businesses and the surrounding community
