The mission of the Gaston County Harm Reduction Alliance is to bring together various departments within Gaston County Public Health and engage with community stakeholders to combat sexually transmitted diseases and drug overdose crises in Gaston County. Our goal is to promote harm reduction through education, identification, and prevention strategies, all while leveraging the strengths and resources already present in Gaston County to enhance the long-term health and well-being of our community. We actively seek partnerships for the distribution of naloxone, guidance on relevant training, program planning, and data communication.
