FY24 TAP Grant Report
As a recipient of a fiscal year 2024 Tourism Advertising Promotion (TAP) Grant, you are required to submit a final report and documentation no more than 30 days after your event. This online form allows you to submit copies of your final advertising invoices along with reporting the success of your event.
The level of success can be measured by two or more of the metrics listed below. More information about the metrics can be found at SDVisit.com/TAP. We understand there may be other measurements for your specific marketing plan or event, and those may be used with prior approval.You are also required to return any unspent TAP Grant funds no more than 30 days after your event. Those funds should be returned to Travel South Dakota, attn: Hallie Willey, 711 E Wells Avenue, Pierre, SD 57501.

If possible, we suggest that you photocopy multiple invoices onto one page or into one document and then upload. If necessary, additional files may be uploaded under question 10, below.
* Your TAP Grant budget tracking sheet(s) must reflect the actuals of how the grant funds were spent and should match the invoices you upload.
Report or estimate attendance numbers from counter clickers at event entrances, vehicle counts, online RSVPs, ticket sales, etc.
Request percent increase/decrease from local lodging properties during event.

Check with several local businesses and attractions about increase/decrease in business.

Contact your city finance officer to obtain local tax revenue and find out if there was an increase/decrease.
