KNX IoT Development Workshop: Empowering Energy Management Solutions

Join us for the second KNX IoT development workshop, presented in collaboration with FLEXCON, where talented solution developers like you will embark on an exciting journey to create cutting-edge energy management solutions for homes and buildings. As a pioneer in the market for over 30 years, KNX Association has perfected interoperability at the application level, and now, with the new KNX IoT platform, we are redefining how KNX installations seamlessly integrate with the IP world..

The new KNX IoT specifications open up a world of possibilities, offering boundless opportunities to craft purposeful solutions and services for energy-related applications that leverage the robust KNX infrastructure, including smart meters, EV chargers, actuators, sensors, and more.

During this workshop, you will harness the power of a state-of-the-art test bench, equipped with a virtual KNX installation featuring actuators with load control and real-time current detection, providing instant power consumption insights. This virtual setup ensures IP connectivity through our Proof of Concept KNX IoT API server. By utilizing a free REST client, you'll have the chance to create foundational solutions for energy management, serving as the building blocks for more intricate developments.

Designed exclusively for software developers like yourself, this immersive workshop is limited to 8 participants to ensure focused learning and personalized attention. Over the course of 3 hours, you will gain valuable insights into developing software clients for KNX IoT API Servers, with a direct application in Energy Management solutions.
