You are registered to attend the Advanced Forensic Interview Training in Great Falls, MT on September 27-29, 2023. Below are logistics you will need for the training.

AGENDA & MATERIALS
We will be sending out an additional logistics memo the week before the training. The agenda and electronic copies of all handouts will be made available then.

LODGING
All conference participants, including those who applied for lodging scholarships, are responsible for making their own lodging reservations.

- Reservations can be made by contacting The Sleep Inn/ MainStay Suites (406) 761-4600.
- When making reservations, reference the Children’s Alliance of Montana Block of Rooms.
- Any unreserved rooms in the room block will be released to the general public after September 20^th. Please make your room reservations as soon as possible.

Lodging Scholarship Recipients:

Lodging scholarship applicants will be notified of their lodging scholarship status by September 13^th.
If you have not received an email about your lodging scholarship status by September 13^th, please contact Dani Peterson- training@childrensalliancemt.org

Those who receive lodging scholarships will have their room reservation cost transferred to the master bill upon check in.

If you will not be able to attend the conference- It is your responsibility to cancel hotel reservations. Any no show cost will not be covered by the Children’s Alliance of Montana.

DRESS CODE
The dress code for the training is business casual.

MEALS
There will be no meals provided during the training. Coffee, tea, and water will be made available.

There are many restaurants near the Sleep Inn/ MainStay Suites to choose from for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

ATTENDING VIRTUALLY:

ALL VIRTUALLY REGISTERED TRAINING ATTENDEES WILL BE REQUIRED TO:

Log in 15 minutes early for each day of the training.

This will allow for time to troubleshoot technology issues.

All virtual training attendees will be required to sign in at the beginning of each training day and after the lunch break on Day 2.
- This is done by typing your name in the Zoom group chat box.
- If you will not be able to participate fully during all three days of training, please email Dani Peterson training@childrensalliancemt.org.
When possible, we ask that virtual training attendees participate with cameras on.

LOGISTICS FOR JOINING THE VIRTUAL TRAINING:
1.       We are using the safety features Zoom has to maintain the highest confidentiality for our trainings
2.       We will be logged in 15 minutes early. Please feel free to log in early to test your connection, sound etc.
3.       Participants do have to register to receive the Zoom invitation
4.       If joining by phone, participants will have to enter the passcode below
5.       Participants will be placed in a waiting room and admitted to the webinar by the host
6.       The presenter will be live, and the training will be interactive –we will mute the audience once the training gets started but we encourage interaction during the webinar, participants can unmute themselves or the host can unmute them for questions
