Introduction
Hello. Lewisham Learning has asked The Centre for Education and Youth (CfEY) to conduct research with pupils, school staff and parents in Lewisham about race equality as part of its work under its Embedding Race Equality Pledge. We want to explore pupils', staff and parents' views on racial equality in the borough by asking you to complete surveys. We need your help!
What do I have to do?
We're really hoping you will be able to help us, by filling out the survey. It should take around 10 to 15 minutes to complete. If you have children attending more than one school in Lewisham, please complete the survey more than once so we can understand your experiences in each school.
What will you do with my responses?
We will collect respondents' information safely using Alchemer, a trusted online survey platform, and store data securely. We will analyse the information you share with us and report back to Lewisham Learning, but we won't use your name when presenting the findings from this survey.
Who else will find out what I say in this survey?
No one outside our team will be able to access the information you submit unless they have agreed to work with us and keep your information safe. If you say something which makes us worried about your safety, or a young person's safety, then we may tell someone who can help.
Who can I ask for more information?
If you want more information about the research, ask Joe Hallgarten, CEO at CfEY (joe@cfey.org)
We really hope you will be able to help us with our research by filling out our survey. Thank you!
