Open Streets Fall 2023 Vendor and Sponsor Application

Thank you for your interest in Open Streets 2023, to be held on Sunday, September 24, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., excluding setup and teardown times. We're looking forward to re-engaging our community at Open Streets with your participation. Vendor and sponsor applications are due by September 15, 2023.

This application will cover both standard vendor participation, and specific sponsorship opportunities. Whether you're planning to participate as a vendor or sponsor, please complete this application.

Upon completion, staff will be in contact with you to finalize details, including payment, activity choice, and logistics.

Your participation as a vendor includes the following:

One 10'x10' space for your organizational tent to host free, interactive activities. Space is flexible. Staff will assign your location. Additional spaces or central placement in one Hub additional $100.
Logo included on our print and digital Event Program featuring Route Map.
Direct access to 100's of participants who will engage in your interactive activity.
Limited shout outs in social media, newsletter, and other general event promotion.

City department fee for participation is $0.

Non-profit or government agency fee for participation is $50.

Private business fee for participation is $100.

As a business located directly on the event route, we will discount your vendor fee to $50.

Once your application is approved, you will receive a form indicating approval and information needed to process your payments. You may pay over the phone or secure internet site using credit card, debit card, or e-check. No payment is due until you receive your approval notification and instructions to complete your payment.

9. What free activity do you plan to include at Open Streets? Vendors and sponsors* are highly encouraged to provide health-, wellness-, or movement-oriented activities to get participants moving, connect with local organizations, and explore new neighborhoods and their inherent assets. Vendors are encouraged to avoid passing out literature, and instead focus on an interactive way to connect to participants. In the vendor/sponsor packet there are examples of activities as well as at www.fcgov.com/openstreets in the Flikr albums from past years Open Streets.

If you are conducting sales during the event, you will be required to report and pay sales taxes. Information will be emailed to you on this process.

12. How much space do you require for your participation? Space is virtually unlimited, but please indicate if you will require the standard 10' x 10' space for a typical pop-up tent, or more. Please be advised that activities are not permitted to consume more than half the width of the roadway (~20') to maintain a clear path for participants, but you can request space parallel to the event route, and in the street, of any amount.
