Project ACHIEVE is doing a research study to develop a digital health communication tool. The purpose of this tool is to improve recruitment and enrollment of transgender women into HIV vaccine research studies. This will help us towards a goal of making sure that any future HIV vaccine studies, and potential vaccines that become available, consider the needs and preferences of transgender women.

To help develop this communication tool, we are holding focus groups with transgender women to learn about what's important to them when it comes to communication around HIV prevention, HIV vaccines, and deciding to join an HIV vaccine study. During the focus group, we will show you examples of the communication tool and ask for your feedback on things like the design, colors, and content.

Participation involves attending up to 3 focus groups. The focus groups will take place online/virtually or in person. Each focus group will last 60-90 minutes and pay $50.

Click “Next page” to answer a few questions and see if you meet basic criteria.  If you are eligible and interested, you will be asked to provide information so we can contact you to ask you a few more questions by phone and possibly schedule an appointment for the study.
