Community Orchard Application Survey

Thanks to funding from the David Cock Foundation, we will be helping four groups establish community orchards in Leicestershire, Rutland, Northamptonshire, Essex and/or Suffolk this winter. We will provide these groups with trees, educational resources, and virtual classes to help them create flourishing orchards and train volunteers to plant, prune, and harvest fruit trees. 
1. Is the potential planting area located in Leicestershire, Rutland, Northamptonshire, Essex or Suffolk? *This question is required.
2. Is the site accessible to the public? *This question is required.
3. Do you have a dedicated group of volunteers willing to plant the trees and take responsibility for their aftercare, including mulching, pruning, and harvesting?  *This question is required.
4. Do you have proof of permission from landowners and/or council to plant on this area this coming winter, 2023-2024? *This question is required.
