Alumni Awards 2023

We are excited to announce that the University of East London’s Alumni team will be hosting the fifth Alumni Achievement Awards this October! This year’s Alumni Achievement Awards ceremony will be run as a hybrid event giving people the option to either join us virtually or in person.

This is an excellent opportunity to recognise the achievements of our alumni in a wide range of areas and come together to celebrate their success. Following on from last year will we again be awarding The UEL 125th anniversary celebratory award. This award allows us to reflect on the values and ambitions that unite us. It brings together a sense of belonging and community and celebrates the alumni or group of alumni who have made a positive impact on the history of east London, in the same way, the university has.
 
Do you know someone who deserves to be celebrated? If so, please take a few minutes to fill out our short nomination form.

Please note, that you do not have to make a nomination for each category - the form is designed so that you can move to the next category if you do not wish to make a nomination for it.

Please complete the categories that you wish to make nominations for in full. The awards panels may not consider incomplete nominations. 
 
You can also self-nominate for these awards, so please feel free to put yourself forward for an award.
 
Nominations close on Sunday 6th August and those who have been shortlisted will be informed no later than Friday 1st September. The Alumni Achievement Awards Ceremony will be taking place on Thursday 19th October 2023 from 6:00 -8:00 pm, at our Stratford Campus. We hope you can join us and look forward to seeing you there!
