Fall 2023 Cal Poly ENGAGE Application

Welcome

Welcome to the application for the cohort-based ENGAGE Scholarship & Mentoring Program for incoming and continuing transfer students at Cal Poly. ENGAGE is a collaboration between Allan Hancock College, Cuesta College, and the Cal Poly College of Engineering.

We are currently recruiting a new cohort of incoming and continuing transfer students at Cal Poly in the College of Engineering, the Architectural Engineering major, and the BioResource & Agricultural Engineering major.

Selected students will begin the program in Fall 2023.

To apply for the next ENGAGE cohort, please complete this application by August 24, 2023 (11:59pm).

ENGAGE Scholars receive a need-based and merit-based scholarship that is sponsored by the National Science Foundation. The scholarship award is based on your unmet financial need, and is up to $10,000 year. We expect that, for students still enrolled, the scholarship award can continue into 2024-25.

As an ENGAGE Scholar, you will be matched with a faculty mentor at Cal Poly. You and your cohort will participate in CliftonStrengths Training, field trips, and other cohort activities designed to support your success!
