Thank you for your interest in applying to be an ADHA Professional Fellow! To be considered, you must meet the requirements, complete the following application form, and upload the required supplemental materials prior to submitting.
This application period is for the 2023-2024 Fellows class and will close on June 1, 2024. Acceptances will be granted on a rolling basis throughout the year. Celebrations honoring this Fellows class will be held at the ADHA24 Annual Conference in New Orleans, LA in July 2024.
ADHA Professional Fellow requirements:
- Minimum of five years of ADHA professional membership (not required to be consecutive years)
- Accumulated 100 CE credits over any five-year period
- Actively participated in the dental hygiene profession via practice, scholarship (publications, research, presentations}, volunteerism, and/or leadership
- Two professional references from oral health colleagues who endorse your candidacy as an ADHA Professional Fellow
- A current resume or CV
- A statement describing your contributions to the dental hygiene profession (maximum 500 words)
- $250 one-time application fee
The process will be easier if you have all the required supplemental materials ready for upload before you begin your application. These include:
1. Your Resume/CV
2. Using the Sponsorship Form (provided below), produce
two signed professional references that endorse your candidacy as an ADHA Fellow.
3. A brief essay of no more than 500 words submitted in a professional format, that includes your contributions to the dental hygiene profession.
You will have the option to Save & Continue your submission if you need to continue at a later time. Just look for the "Save & Continue" button at the top of the page and follow the instructions to finish it later.
Upon submission of this application, you will be redirected to the Application Fee Payment Portal to pay the nonrefundable $250 application fee. You must pay the fee in order for your application submission to be complete.
