Helpful Hands Shelter Volunteer- Ongoing Support

The Humane Society Silicon Valley would love to welcome you as a Helpful Hands Volunteer! Helpful Hands Volunteers assist with shelter laundry and dishes. Please register below and be sure to use an email address you check regularly, as we will be sending further instructions directly to your email.  

There are several steps to complete in order to become a volunteer at HSSV. The next, after completing this registration is:
  • Complete a virtual onboarding.
  • Complete the waiver
      *A link to the onboarding and waiver will be sent to you in the email confirming your registration. 

Please complete the registration by reading and acknowledging your understanding of the Volunteer Handbook (we will review key parts of this during your orientation). 

Please note: We have made some new additions to our shifts. Please feel free to email volunteer@hssv.org or call the Volunteer Department at 408-262-2133 ext. 271 if you would like to know any more specifics before registering here or for any other questions.
