EVI Community Car Scheme: Share your thoughts!

What is it?

EVI is excited to propose a new community car scheme aimed at providing affordable door-to-door transportation for Blaenau Gwent residents who have difficulty accessing public transport. This service will offer a convenient means for community members to access the centre and benefit from the services we offer, including EVI Pantry and Repair Café, community health and wellbeing activities, our community café, and much more. Additionally, the scheme can be used to help people get to health and other appointments, as well as for other everyday needs. Volunteer drivers will use their own cars and will be reimbursed for expenses up to 45p per mile. To help us plan the service effectively, we would like to ask a few questions to explore community interest and gather feedback. Thank you for your time!
1. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy or difficult is it for you to access transportation in your community? ( 1 being very easy, 5 being very difficult.)
12345
2. Which of the following factors have the greatest impact on your ability, or the ability of others you know, to travel around the area? Please tick all that apply.
3. Would you be interested in using this community car scheme outlined at the beginning of this questionnaire?
4. Do you know others (family members / friends / clients) who you think would be interested in using this community car scheme?
5. If yes, how often would you or someone you know anticipate using this service? Please tick.
6. What would be your (or others you know) main reason for using this service? Please tick all that apply.
8. There would be a minimum affordable fixed rate set for journeys to be agreed during public consultation, would you be happy to pay this?
9. Volunteering at EVI has a range of benefits both to yourself and for your community. Would you be interested in volunteering as a car driver for this scheme (must have own car - you will be paid mileage).
10. Would you be interested in volunteering to help us set up and co-ordinate the scheme? (No car needed)
11. If yes to either of the above, please provide your contact information or come and chat to us! We would love to hear from you:
