National Nursing and Midwifery Digital Health Capability Framework
APNA acknowledges that an increase in knowledge and utilisation of digital health tools is beneficial to increasing workforce efficiency and patient outcomes. APNA collaborated with the Australian Digital Health Agency and Australasian Institute of Digital Health (AIDH), along with other peak body organisations, to develop the National Nursing and Midwifery Digital Health Capability Framework (the Framework).
The Framework is designed to guide nurses and midwives to identify their digital health capability level and to address areas where knowledge gaps exist.
The purpose of this survey is to identify how nurses currently use the Framework, and where improvements can be made to increase the use of digital health tools.
