Pembroke Pines Community Survey: A Vision for Public Art

The City of Pembroke Pines is developing a Community Public Art Plan! The intent of the plan is to advance the current public art program to be vibrant, interactive and inclusive, to represent all of the Pembroke Pines community, and to develop a vision and direction for art in the public realm. Your opinion and input are a critical part of this planning process. We want to hear from everyone, so please forward this survey link to anyone who might be interested.

If you have any questions or issues with this survey, please contact Linda Flynn at linda@culturalplanning.com.

Please complete this survey by August 21, 2023.

Thank you for your time!

Sincerely,

The City of Pembroke Pines and Cultural Planning Group

What is Public Art?

Public art ENGAGES COMMUNITY and BRINGS VIBRANCY to public places and private development.
It is a
POWERFUL TOOL for artistic self-expression, community identity, equity and inclusion, appreciation of art, and CELEBRATION OF PLACE. Public art is not just permanent sculpture – IT IS NOW temporary, interactive, functional, and may even be performance-oriented.
