Grace College Incoming International Student Exchange Application


Please complete this form if you are wanting to apply to Grace College as part of an exchange partnership.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student pursuing an undergraduate degree at a partner university
  • At least 2nd year (exceptions can be made upon request)
  • In good academic standing
  • Equivalent of a "B" grade point average (2.5 GPA or above)
  • Language Proficiency Requirement:
    • TOEFL
      • Paper: 500
      • Computer: 173
      • iBT: 61
    • Duolingo: minimum score of 90

  • Grace College will accept as many students as specified in the interinstitutional agreement to study in the fall or the spring semester.
  • Because this is an exchange program, students pay tuition to their home institution only.
  • Grace College’s room and board rates for the school year are listed on the website at https://www.grace.edu/admissions/undergraduate/tuition-costs/.
  • Female exchange students are placed in Encompass Hall. Male exchange students students will be placed in Kent Hall, based on availability.
  • Grace College will house exchange students with a roommate(s) in Grace College residence halls and assist them with the logistics of transportation to and from the airport per the agreement between Grace College and sending institution. Grace College will assist students in finding temporary housing when the residence halls close for holidays or other breaks during the semester.
  • Students should plan for additional expenses such as books, class materials, personal items, health insurance, and personal trips. Books and other materials are not provided by the institution nor are they included in the room and board rates.
  • Students at Grace College attend chapel on campus three days each week and are welcome to attend a local church. The institution can assist students in locating a church in the community.
  • Grace College will assist students in registering for 12-18 credit hours of course work for the semester(s) in which they enroll. Debora Wilhite, Program Coordinator of Institute for Global Studies, will assist students in selecting their course work based on their individual needs.
  • Dates of classes, orientations, and dorm closures for each semester are on the website at http://www.grace.edu/calendar/.
  • Grace College will send the student’s final transcript with an American letter grade to sending institution.
