2023-24 Mentoring Corps: Loops Presidents Interest Form

Girls Who Code Mentoring Corps is a NEW opportunity launching in fall 2023 for College Loops participants to engage with high school Clubs students in their local area. Loop members will support high school Clubs students in building their confidence, and provide insights into college life while learning new leadership skills and receiving coaching on their careers and finances from GWC's partner, MetLife.

This form is intended for College Loops Presidents to express their interest in having their Loop participate in Mentoring Corps for the 2023-24 school year. If selected, this commitment will include organizing and hosting virtual and live campus events.

The Mentoring Corps (MC) program is a school-year-long commitment with a College Loops campus, where they will be matched with high school Club(s). College Loops are expected to participate in a range of activities, including providing Clubs mentorship, planning and facilitating a virtual coding event, attending financial literacy workshops and career coaching sessions with MetLife, and leading an on-campus Clubs visit. All Loop members will be able to earn participation-based stipends each semester after successfully completing MC activities.
