WID Research Participant Application

Introduction

The World Institute on Disability (WID) is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization based in Berkeley, California that works to continuously advance the rights and opportunities of more than one billion people with disabilities worldwide. At WID, we work with a variety of clients to improve accessibility or implement accessibility into their spaces, both physical and digital, by assessing their products, equipment, processes, websites, and more. We do this through user experience testing, focus groups, surveys, and other forms of research. If you’d like to read more about this work, you can visit our website: Link to WID's Accessibility and Universal Design Solutions division.

Here's where you come in: WID utilizes participants with disabilities from all over the U.S. for many of our research studies! If you are interested in participating in our research, please answer all questions in this application to the best of your ability. It is important that we have as much information as possible in order to place you in the appropriate studies. If we think you qualify for a study, you will be notified by a WID staff member, who will discuss scheduling and compensation with you.

Please email us at accessibility@wid.org if you experience any technical or accessibility issues.

Thank you for your interest in improving accessibility!
