Financial Literacy Standards - Reviewer Information

Florida's state academic standards establish the core content of the curricula to be taught in the state and specify the core content knowledge and skills that K-12 public school students are expected to acquire. Standards must be rigorous and relevant and provide for the logical, sequential progression of core curricular content that incrementally increases a student’s core content knowledge and skills over time.

The Florida Department of Education convened a statewide group of content experts to review the Financial Literacy standards. These standards have been reviewed and revised based on relevancy to current issues.

Florida has a very broad public records law. Most written communications to or from state officials are public records available to the public and media upon request. For information and exempt status criteria, please refer to the Government-in-the-Sunshine Manual. By completing the survey you consent to having your information collected and stored as public record.
