Op-Ed Submission Deadline: 11 August 2023
Registration Deadline: 21 September 2023. All accepted applicants must register for the event.
ASCEND Event: 23-25, October 2023 at Caesars Forum in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

Diverse Dozen finalists will agree to:

Author a 700-word op-ed as part of the Diverse Dozen
Register to attend the event
Present in-person at ASCEND (23-25 October 2023 at Caesars Forum, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA)
Participate in the review and selection of the succeeding cohort (Summer 2024)

 
Background
Hear from past cohorts of the Diverse Dozen, led by Moriba Jah from the University of Texas at Austin from the 2020, 2021 and 2022 ASCEND events. Influential thinkers and emerging leaders from around the globe were featured in a series of rapid-fire lightning talks that highlighted the most important issues surrounding safety, security, and sustainability in the context of space traffic.
