Washoe County Prevention Conference 2023

Join Together Northern Nevada, Child Assault Prevention, and Washoe County School District would like your input and partnership on a collaborative Prevention Conference planned for June 2, 2023.  We are thrilled to provide this opportunity for CEUs, networking, and learning together.  We serve youth and care about our community and you are invited to provide insight, input, and collaboration to make this event meaningful for our community.

The current programming for this prevention conference may include the following: 

1.)  Trauma Informed Communities Keynote Speaker
2.)  Washoe County School District Workshops on- Mandated Reporting, Bullying and Suicide Prevention, Classroom Management, Behavior within the District, Community Based Communications within the School District, Collaboration
3.)  Marijuana and our Youth Speaker
4.) Equity Panel
