Continuum of Care Committee
MISSION: The Continuum of Care (CoC) is designed to promote a communitywide commitment to the goal of ending homelessness.
WHAT WE DO: The Prince William Area CoC provides funding for efforts by nonprofit providers and local governments to quickly rehouse homeless individuals and families while minimizing the trauma of dislocation caused to homeless individuals, families in the community. The Homeless Services System promotes access to and effect utilization of mainstream programs by homeless individuals and families to optimize self-sufficiency among individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
MEETING TIMES: Second Thursday of each month from 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Service Continuum Committee
WHAT WE DO: The Service Continuum committee develops streamlined processes to improve PWA services. The committee has created Coordinated Entry Policies and Procedures, a uniform Rapid Re[1]Housing application and strategic ways to improve barriers to Emergency Shelter.
MEETING TIMES: First Thursday of each month from 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
MEETING TIMES: Third Thursday of each Month from 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.. (As Need)
Program Analysis and Ranking Committee (PAR)
WHAT WE DO: The PAR committee evaluates, scores, and ranks community project performance measures for state and federal grants. *Members shall not include any homeless service providers funded by HUD and/or the Commonwealth of Virginia.
MEETING TIMES: Second Tuesday of the month at 3:00 pm
