ACPM Faculty Application

The American College of Preventive Medicine (ACPM) invites members to serve as expert faculty to develop Continuing Medical Education (CME) AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ courses. If you are a preventive medicine physician with expertise in population health and a passion for educating others, we encourage you to apply! We want to engage ACPM members to serve as faculty to develop a course on one of the following topics:
  • Obtaining Buy-in Among Leaders and Managing Change Among Team Members
    This course will provide preventive medicine physicians with strategies to achieve leadership buy-in and effectively manage change among team members to create system-based transformation and positively impact population health outcomes. Through case studies and evidence-based tools, physicians will learn practical, equitable approaches to influence change in various settings.
     
  • Improving Brain Health: Practical Review of Dementia Risk Reduction Strategies.
    This course will improve healthcare providers’ awareness and ability to take action to identify and apply evidence-based strategies to manage modifiable risk factors for dementia. In addition, this course will complement and expand upon Brain Health: Benefits of Blood Pressure Management as a Potential Mechanism to Reduce the Risk of Cognitive Decline and Dementia by John Barrett, MD, MPH, MS, FACPM and Jeff Newman, MD, MPH.
