McCall PROS Q2- Poll 2

Welcome!

Phase 2 - Poll 2: Riverfront Park

The City of McCall is updating its 2005 Parks and Recreation Master Plan. Following the public meeting held on November 16, 2022, additional feedback is needed from the public to refine the direction for parks, recreation, open spaces, and trails opportunities. This is your opportunity to express your wish list for park and open space facilities! Costs, funding sources and implementation realities will be addressed as the draft Plan is developed.

Learn more about the overall process by visiting McCallPROS.comPublic meetings and opportunities to provide feedback on the Draft Plan are planned in Spring 2023.

This is poll 2 of 3 focusing on Riverfront Park. Riverfront Park is a 35-acre parcel with about two acres that are currently developed with a river access point and picnic tables. The majority of the land was purchased with funds that require it to be used for park and recreational uses. Portions of the parcel are used for snow and public works storage, which is limited in other places of the City. The parcel sits on a bluff that presents challenges to future park development but also opportunities for great scenic views overlooking the Payette River.

Please review the following concept plan to answer the question below. This conceptual plan shows how Riverfront Park could be developed given community needs, site analysis, and previous public feedback.
