WSBLE Further Studies Survey

In July 2022 – after reviewing the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) and the comments from Tribes, the public and agency partners – the Sound Transit Board identified the preferred alternative for the West Seattle Link Extension and requested further studies for the Ballard Link Extension. The Board asked staff to return with a status report on the further studies in February 2023.

Since July 2022, Sound Transit staff have been engaging community members and conducting further studies in response to Board direction and community feedback. Now that the further studies have been completed, we are seeking additional community feedback to share with the Sound Transit Board to inform potential action on a preferred alternative for the Ballard Link Extension.
