2023 FOUNDERS’ AWARD NOMINATION INSTRUCTIONS

Applications are due by Sunday, January 29, 2023; 11:59 PM PST

BACKGROUND

In the spirit of NAPO's founders, the Founders' Award is presented to a NAPO member, or a group of NAPO members acting in concert, for demonstrating outstanding innovation, inspiration, and creativity both within and outside of the field of professional organizing and productivity consulting. By nominating this person(s), you proclaim that you admire and respect their professionalism and achievements and are proud to say that they are a member of our association.

The NAPO Awards & Recognition Committee reviews all submissions to ensure that nominees meet the eligibility requirements and criteria of this award. Any nominee found to not meet the eligibility requirements or who does not align with the criteria as described will not appear on the ballot.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

1. Nominees are to adhere to the NAPO Code of Ethics and be respected for professionalism and achievement.

2. Nominees must have been a NAPO Professional Member for a minimum of three (3) years at the time of the nomination.

3. A nominee may not serve on the NAPO Awards & Recognition Committee at the time of the nomination. Committee members cannot nominate a recipient.

4. Three (3) NAPO Professional members must collectively endorse the nominee at the time of nomination.

5. Nominators must affirm that the member being nominated knows about the nomination AND has confirmed that the information in the nomination form is accurate.

6. Self-nominations will not be accepted.

7. Previous nominees may be re-nominated.

8. Nominations must be received by the deadline posted at the top of this application.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

All nominees are vetted by the Awards & Recognition Committee and the ballot is approved by the NAPO Board of Directors.
Nominees who appear on the final ballot are required to attend the upcoming NAPO annual conference/summit, where the award will be presented.

This information will be included on the Founders’ Award ballot that is provided to the NAPO membership. To maintain consistency, this description will be cut off at 500 words.
