The National Academy of Medicine's
Action Collaborative on Decarbonizing the U.S. Health Sector is conducting a survey to complement a series of five focus groups to better understand the perspectives of certain stakeholder groups on decarbonizing the health sector. These focus groups include frontline communities, health professional learners, workers, and educators, as well as patient advocacy organizations and patients.
The responses from the survey and focus groups will provide a greater understanding of opportunities for climate and health communication and education across certain stakeholder groups. An additional aim of the focus groups and survey is to bring greater awareness on the impacts of climate change on human health and decarbonizing the health sector.
