CPS Religious Practices Survey Campaign Focus Groups

The Office of Family and Community Engagement and the Office of Equity are partnering to ensure we affirm student and staff religious and cultural practices by gathering numbers and narratives within Chicago Public Schools in order to operationalize the CPS Equity Framework.  We are asking you to complete the following brief survey in order to inform our understanding of religious and cultural practices in Chicago Public Schools. With a better understanding of the religious and cultural practices of CPS students and families,  we will revisit district policies and practices with an equity lens, including the Accommodation of Student Religious Practices Policy.

 

In the survey, you also have the ability to express interest in supporting redesigning CPS policies in the future - here’s how our Public Comment process works under Frequently Asked Questions.  Please note that our policies when they are posted are listed under the Proposed Policies or Rule Changes Open for Public Comment.

 

The following survey should take 5-10 minutes to complete. If you are a student, consider completing the survey with your family or a trusted adult. Please complete by 5 p.m. on March 17th.
