The United Nations Regional Commissions, ECA, ECE, ECLAC, ESCAP and ESCWA, are developing an online course on “Next Generation Trade Facilitation”. The course will aim to build capacity and knowledge on good practices in trade facilitation, as well as to enable evidence-based policy making. The scope of the course is based on the trade facilitation measures covered under the UN Global Survey on Digital and Sustainable Trade Facilitation Survey, focusing on digital and sustainable trade facilitation measures, also trade facilitation measures relevant for times of crisis and epidemic.

It consists of 10 pre-recorded modules (approximately 15 min each) and three interactive sessions. For each module, the participants are expected to watch the recorded video presentations. The participants are then expected to take online quizzes associated with the course material and attend the three live sessions.

Note that this course is offered for the first time on a pilot basis and participants are requested to kindly note down any feedback to the content of the course and quizzes for improvement. Three live interactive sessions to discuss the content and ask any clarification questions are offered to participants who will have gone through the pre-recorded sessions and attempted all quizzes.

Upon attending the live sessions, providing feedback and passing the quizzes, participants will get a certificate of completion for the course.
