Thank you for applying to attend an Initial English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC) or Initial Alternate ELPAC focus group.
ETS, under direction from the California Department of Education, will hold virtual focus groups to collect feedback on the Initial ELPAC and Initial Alternate ELPAC administrations that occurred these past few months. We thank you for your hard work and efforts to participate in this administration. Your feedback is extremely valuable.
The focus groups will occur on the following dates and times.
- Initial ELPAC LEA and site coordinators—Tuesday, November 1, 2022, 3–4 p.m.
- Initial Alternate ELPAC LEA and site coordinators —Monday, November 7, 2022, 3–4 p.m.
- Initial ELPAC test examiners—Wednesday, November 9, 2022, 3–4 p.m.
- Initial Alternate ELPAC test examiners—Monday, November 14, 2022, 3–4 p.m.
Each focus group will last approximately 60 minutes. To participate fully in a virtual focus group, participants will need access to a device that is connected to the internet, a webcam, and a microphone.
