BECC 2022 COVID Attestation

We look forward to seeing you at the Behavior, Energy and Climate Change (BECC) conference, November 13-16, in Washington, DC. The BECC conference organizers consider the health and well-being of all participants as our top priority.  The BECC conference requires that all participants, vendors, and staff be fully vaccinated to attend the event. If you are not fully vaccinated, or will not be fully vaccinated prior to the conference, and you have already registered and paid, please contact info@beccconference.org to cancel your registration and receive a refund according the refund policy.

Exposure to COVID-19 is an inherent risk in any public location where people are present; we cannot guarantee you will not be exposed during your visit. The CDC recommends that people get fully vaccinated and boosted. Per the CDC, vaccines are safe and highly effective at protecting people from severe COVID-19. Getting fully vaccinated yourself may also protect people around you. The CDC still recommends prevention measures for unvaccinated people. For more information see www.cdc.gov.

Safety guidelines are subject to change at any time based on federal, state, and local regulations. We ask that in-person attendees follow all safety instructions provided by the BECC staff at all times and that you do not attend any in-person event if you are feeling unwell or showing any symptoms of illness. On a voluntary basis, please also consider downloading the DC COVID Alert Notice app, https://coronavirus.dc.gov/dccan.
