EPP 2024 Early Career Town Hall

EPP-2024
Oct 13 2022 Early Career Town Hall

The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine Committee on Elementary Particle Physics: Progress and Promise (EPP-2024) is hosting an Early Career Town Hall.

The EPP-2024 committee recognizes that in order for elementary particle physics to thrive, the field must engage the next generation of scientists.

The EPP-2024 committee will host a town hall to gather perspectives and input from early career scientists, including graduate students, postdocs, and early-career faculty and laboratory equivalent positions.

The EPP-2024 Early Career Town Hall will take place virtually on October 13, 2022 from 12pm-3 pm EDT. The event will primarily be a listening session so that the Committee can hear from as many speakers as possible.
The purpose of the town hall is to gather perspectives and input from early career scientists. You may submit a written statement not to exceed 500 words. Please provide a descriptive title. If you would like to submit a longer statement, please consider submitting a Vision Paper instead. All submitted statements will be viewed by the committee and will become part of the Public Access record for this committee.
Your submission may not include ITAR restricted data or other sensitive materials.

We expect members of the public to abide by the National Academies Policy for Participants in NASEM Activities.
