Paddle Australia (PA) is the National Sports Organisation (NSO) responsible for the management, coordination, development and promotion of paddling in Australia. PA is recognised by the Federal Government and represents the interests of its members to government and the public. PA’s vision, contained in the
Strategic Plan for Paddling in Australia, is for ‘A United Paddling Community’.
PA acknowledges that excellence and achievement can take many forms. We are committed to recognising outstanding contributions to the paddling community through the Paddle Australia Annual Awards, which highlight our members’ achievements during the nomination period across a number of categories. The Annual Awards also provide a platform to honour those who have contributed to our sport over a number of years. The categories for the Annual Awards are described in the
Paddle Australia Life Membership, Annual Awards and Hall of Fame Policy.
The Annual Awards are an opportunity for members of our paddling community to provide nominations for contributions deserving recognition over the period 1 October 2021 – 30 September 2022. We would be pleased to receive your nomination, simply complete the form below.
The Paddle Australia Honours and Awards Panel will meet to determine shortlist and winner of each award in accordance with the
HAP Terms of Reference.
Nominations for the PA Annual Awards and Life Membership will close on the 19 September 2022.
Please note: Hall of Fame nominations are called for biennially and will be called for in 2023. Unless otherwise specified, only financial members of Paddle Australia will be eligible to receive Awards.
