On July 6, 2021, the Richmond City Council adopted Resolution 88-21 to support the process of developing a Richmond Green-Blue New Deal and Just Transition to 21st century jobs.  As a result, the City has contracted with the Appraccel LLC team to support the development of a Richmond Green-Blue New Deal Workforce Development Plan. The goal is to bring well-paying green and blue job opportunities that will equitably transition the local economy to environmentally healthy infrastructure. The “Green” in Green-Blue New Deal refers to an environment that supports vibrant communities and “Blue” symbolizes Labor as well as resilient shoreline resources. The City is committed to ensuring that future investments benefit the livelihoods of Richmond residents and the health of their families.

Richmond community members are experts on the needs and desires of their community. Your input and feedback will shape the goals, direction, and priorities of the Richmond Green-Blue New Deal.
This survey should take less than 10 minutes to complete and responses are anonymous.  For more information or to learn how to stay involved in the initiative, visit Green-Blue New Deal and Just Transition | Richmond, CA - Official Website.
