VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

The California Restaurant Foundation invites you to participate in FIT™. FIT brings soft-skills and job readiness training to high school culinary arts programs (ProStart programs) on a single training day, Oct. 25. Restaurant and hospitality industry volunteers teach the hands-on activities such as elevator pitches and mock interviews and share personal anecdotes and advice, while students gain a better perspective on the professionalism, teamwork, workplace communication and leadership skills necessary for successful careers.

*FIT Day is Tuesday, October 25.

*Your volunteer commitment is ONE HOUR. We'll send you your timeslot once we match you with a school.

*We'll match you to the closest participating ProStart school possible!

*In the one hour, you'll introduce yourself and your career path, help students work on an "elevator pitch", and conduct a mock interview.
