M1 Elective Course Lottery Application
Rush Medical College offers six (6) Preclerkship elective courses through which first-year students can explore other areas of interest:
These non-credit elective courses may be taken in parallel with the required first-year curriculum.
- Basic Biomedical Research
- Basic Spanish for Medical Professionals
- Clinical Genetics
- Humanities in Medicine
- Innovation in Medicine
- Intermediate Spanish for Medical Professionals
Students are selected by lottery. Please complete this for Elective Course Lottery Application by
Wednesday, July 27th at 11:59 PM. Selection offers will be sent on Friday, August 12, 2022.
Note: if you do not rank a particular elective, the assumption is that you are not interested and will not be considered to match into that elective.
