Indoor Air Management Workshop: Poll

*Note - all questions are optional - answering even one question in the survey is helpful*

Introduction to the project

The Environmental Health Matters Initiative of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine is hosting a virtual workshop series, Indoor Air Management of Airborne Pathogens, with the first workshop to be held Thursday, July 21st.

This workshop will build upon the Airborne Transmission of SARS-CoV-2 workshop held in August 2020 and return to the airborne transmission of respiratory infections in enclosed environments, drawing on lessons learned for successes and drawbacks, and new research related to the built environment and indoor air management since the workshop. The workshop will consider infections with SARS-CoV-2 and other airborne pathogens. This workshop will convene an interdisciplinary group of natural, physical, and social scientists together with facilities managers, ventilation engineers, and representatives of populations using public and private facilities.

To obtain broad and diverse perspectives on the topic, we are collecting anonymous information regarding opportunities, and challenges stakeholders have identified while working with the indoor air management of airborne pathogens.

Please answer any or all the following questions to better inform the workshop planning committee prior to the meeting. The information collected will be reviewed by NASEM staff only and will be used only to illustrate the range of perspectives to consider during the workshop.
