Important Notes Regarding Transportation:

PWCS will make a good faith effort to arrange transportation, when feasible (which is decided case-by-case by the McKinney-Vento staff).
It takes 3-5 school days to develop a plan and start transportation services once the transportation team receives this form from the McKinney-Vento staff.
Transportation will attempt to route a school bus first and if that is not available, then a private vehicle service will be used.
Transportation that is not utilized on a consistent and/or timely manner will be cancelled. If transportation is cancelled and if the student is unable to attend school regularly and on-time, this could result in a best interest decision by the MKV Liaison for the student to transfer to local school where transportation is already setup.
