2023 ACPN Knowledge Exchange Conference – Call for Session Proposals

Thank you for your interest in presenting a breakout session at the 2023 ACPN Knowledge Exchange Conference! Learn more about the program and how to submit a proposal to present below. 

The ACPN breakout sessions at the Annual ACPN Knowledge Exchange Conference provide the industry with focused educational content in the areas of technology and content management. The ACPN Committee invites you to submit breakout session proposals for the 2023 ACPN Knowledge Exchange Conference, which is being held from May 21st – 23rd, 2023 in Orlando, FL.

The ACPN Committee encourages breakout session proposals addressing key topics and challenges in the day-to-day work of a content professional. This may include professional development, technical content and/or best practices navigating the standards. Examples of past sessions include :
  • Taming the Wild ACES File: Common Issues In ACES Files and How To Fix Them
  • Getting Your Heavy Duty, Off-Highway, and Equipment Content In Front Of Customers
  • VIO – How to Avoid “Data Tunnel Vision"
  • An Evolving Standard For An Evolving Customer
  • Machine Interfaces: Is Your Organization Ready? 
  • Your Scalable Digital Content Strategy 
  • Qdb/Coded Content Panel 
  • Building a Catalog Department from Scratch
Possible session types include but are not limited to presentations, case studies, workshops, panel discussions and interactive roundtables. 

Program Details 
  • Breakout sessions will be held at the 2023 ACPN Knowledge Exchange Conference in Orlando, FL. Applicants must be available for the conference dates (May 21st – 23rd, 2023) to implement their session. 
  • Sessions may be up to one (1) hour in length. This includes Q&A. Please indicated below the recommended duration of your session. 
  • Applicants may submit multiple session proposals to address differing topics (up to 3).
  • Presenters will fulfill their ACPN service requirement for the Automotive Content Professionals (ACP) designation. 
  • *Presenters are responsible for covering their own conference registration, travel, and accommodations. 
Session Selection 
The ACPN committee is looking to select up to 2 submissions. The selection of sessions will be conducted by the ACPN Committee. Proposals will be evaluated on relevance to the content professional community, content quality, achievable learning outcomes, and presenter(s)' knowledge of the topic. Before making final selections, the ACPN Committee may contact those submitting sessions to ask for clarification or additional information. 

Key dates
Please note dates are approximate and subject to change. 
  • Proposal submission deadline: September 30, 2022 
  • Committee review period: October 3rd - October 31st, 2022  
  • Finalists will be notified by: November 11th, 2022

How to Apply

Applicants may begin their form and return to it for completion at a later date. At the top of each application page, there is a tool bar with a button that reads "Save and continue later" in the top right-hand corner. Upon clicking this button, applicants will be prompted to enter their email address, verify their email address, and select "save."
