PEST Analysis

INDUSTRY ANALYSIS EXERCISE: 

PEST Analysis (political, economic, social, and technological) is a management method whereby an organization can assess major external factors that influence its operation in order to become more competitive in the market. As described by the acronym, those four areas are central to this model.

In this challenging time, our businesses are all being affected by a complex mixture of political, economic, social, and technical issues. Often ignored in the strategic planning process I believe that is a critical component to creating a sound business strategy for success and growth.

Please complete this exercise by yourself without consulting your colleagues. Try to be as specific as possible with your answers. A common mistake is to be too broad and unfocused.

If you believe that a question does not apply to your industry, put "N/A" (not applicable) in the answer field.

Once you complete your PEST Analysis will have a list of potential Strategic Moves you can make over the next several years to mitigate risk and leverage opportunities!
