CHEST is offering a full-day, invite-only in-person Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Fellows Course at the CHEST 2022 Annual Meeting in Nashville, TN on Saturday, October 15, 2022.
This course is filled with an interactive, lecture-free, educational experience that teaches evidence-based medicine in a way that is fun, easy to remember, and directly applicable to patients. Topics covered have been chosen based on needs assessment surveys of focus groups of Program Directors and fellows, and cover content areas that fellows are often unable to master otherwise, including:
- Advanced Airway Rescue
- Bronchoscopic Control of Bleeding
- Chest Radiology: Interpretation of CT
- Extracorporeal Support for Respiratory Failure
- Mechanical Ventilation Modes and Ventilator Dyssynchrony
- Pulmonary Artery Catheter Waveforms and Interpretation
- Sleep Medicine: Basics of Interpretation and Application of Positive Airway Pressure Therapy
Accepted fellows MUST be members of CHEST. Each Accepted Fellow Will Receive:
- Complimentary registration to CHEST 2022.
- $400 travel stipend for air flights and ground transportation (will receive after completion of post-test)
- Single room accommodations at a CHEST 2022 Annual Meeting hotel for Friday, October 14, and Saturday, October 15.
- Continental breakfast and lunch during the course on Saturday, October 15.
