Launched by the State Government on 1 July 2022, the
$250 Power Saving Bonus (PSB) is a financial package designed to assist energy consumers in Victoria. The Power Saving Bonus program provides a one-off payment of $250 for Victorian Households to ease cost-of-living pressures and encourage Victorians to compare their household energy prices and save money.
From 1 July 2022, applications will be open to all Victorians households who visit the
Victorian Energy Compare website or engage with an energy affordability service through a
participating community outreach partner.
The $250 PSB is available as
two rounds (each eligible household can apply
once per round) for the following dates:
Round one
1 July 2022 - 23.59pm 23 March 2023
Round two:
24 March 2023 - 31 August 2023
