Are you ready to put your critical thinking, problem-solving, and written communication skills to work? You are about to undertake an abbreviated version of an assessment of essential skills developed by CAE, which is designed to assess students’ general critical thinking and written communication skills including scientific and quantitative reasoning, analytic reasoning and evaluation of information, problem solving, writing effectiveness, and writing mechanics.
These skills are essential not only for success in high school and college but also to excel in the workplace and other aspects of life outside the classroom. No prior knowledge of any particular field is necessary in order to perform well.
It will take you 5-10 minutes to complete the assessment. Your answers to 14 Selected Response Questions (SRQs) will be graded automatically and your score will be provided once you have answered all of the questions.
