The International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) and its Section on Library Services to People with Special Needs (LSN) have been asked to participate in an important United Nations project on serving people with disabilities. You can join IFLA/LSN in this project by providing information in the survey and showing the value of libraries in achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
INSTRUCTIONS: The survey includes three sections:
- National, State or Regional Library,
- Library Association,
- Your own library.
Please consider answering those sections in which you have experience to share: e.g. if you are aware of the services of your National/State/Regional library or library association, or if you work for one of these agencies. If you are not aware of those services, feel free to skip those questions.
If you have any questions, please contact
maela.rakocevic.uvodic@gmail.com
Please complete the survey by
20 June, 2022.
The survey responses will be used to produce a report about library services for people with disabilities - which will help inform an upcoming thematic publication by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs.
You can also see how the library responses collected in a
2017 survey had been used to write a first instalment of the report.
All data submitted will be handled in line with IFLA's
Data Protection Policy.
