ACRP Problem Statement Submission Form

Welcome to the ACRP Problem Statement Submission Form

The Airport Cooperative Research Program is soliciting problem statements for its research program and topics for its synthesis and legal programs.

Following are submission deadlines for the FY 2024 Program Year:
  • Research Projects: April 2024
  • Synthesis Topics: April 22
  • Legal Aspects: August 26​​
To ensure your idea is submitted in the appropriate subprogram, consider the following:
  • Research program problem statements typically lead to guidelines, tools, best practices, databases, etc.; a typical project costs between $300,000 and $600,000.
  • Synthesis topics (problem statements) are limited to a review of current practice; syntheses are funded at $55,000 
  • Legal aspects focus on legal and regulatory issues unique to airports that result in legal digests; legal topics (problem statements) are funded between $45,000 and $75,000
