Health and brain injury survey

Why are we doing this survey? 

We want to understand the views and opinions of people who have suffered a brain injury. 

What will I be asked?

You will be asked about your health and wellbeing.  There will be specific questions about brain injury and other questions related to health. 

How long it will take? 

The survey usually takes about 5-10 minutes to complete.

What will happen to the results? 

All data is anonymised and will not be stored for longer than necessary to complete the research project. 

If you exit the survey halfway through it, the data will not be stored and you will not be required to complete the survey.

We will produce a report which will be available to the public.

Prize draw

Who is conducting the survey?

This survey is being carried out by professional market researchers from Public First for the purposes of public health research. It is designed to meet usual practice investigating health issues in a population in order to improve population health. It follows the principles set out in the Market Research Society Code of Conduct, and therefore does not require Research Ethics Committee review (paragraph 2.3.15 of the Governance arrangements for research ethics committees: 2020 edition).

In accordance to the Mental Health Act 2005 Code of Practice, the researchers assume that participants have capacity, and have the right to make decisions that others might not agree with, including the right not to take part in the survey.
