SAANZ 2022 - Call for Papers

The convenors of the SAANZ Annual Conference 2022 – Now What? Reimagining hope, ‘truth’ and equality – are pleased to call for paper submissions.

Paper presentations will each be 15 minutes with a further 5 minutes for questions.

The call for paper proposals closes on October 3rd and the review of paper proposals will be completed by October 31st

Ideally papers will address the conference theme. However, paper that address adjacent sociological themes are very welcome also (click here for potential areas of interest). All papers will be reviewed and included at the discretion of the conference organising committee.

Please note the 2022 SAANZ Conference is in-person and has NO online presentation component (at this stage). Accordingly, paper participants must register for the conference and present in person (though one presenter can represent a team).

Paper presenters with accepted abstracts are required to complete their online registration and pay their conference fees in full by November 6th at the latest to ensure their presentations remain in the conference programme. Presenters registering after this date will be included in the conference programme at the discretion of the conference convenors.

Paper Submissions

Paper abstracts must be submitted online via the SAANZ portal – see below. Abstracts must include the name(s), institutional affiliations and email contact details of the paper presenter(s), a paper title, and a 200-word abstract that outlines the paper.

Instructions for formatting submissions can be found here.
